Queen Camilla turned Kate Middleton's life into a nightmare

What royal sources say about her behavior in recent years

Queen Camilla turned Kate Middleton's life into a nightmare. Upon learning that Charles had received the crown, her behavior changed dramatically. Royal sources testified that she had a different attitude before he became monarch.

RadarOnline.com has learned about Camilla's protocol at the palace in the years leading up to Queen Elizabeth's death. This caused a lot of tension between her and longtime love Prince William.

Insiders said one source of controversy was that Camilla made sure Kate's parents used the servants' entrance when they visited Kensington Palace.

But that's not all. Sources claimed that Camilla also allegedly forced Kate to bow when they were dating. She made Kate feel like she belonged to a lower social status in the royal family hierarchy.

“Camilla can't stop gloating. She's determined to make Kate's life a nightmare," a Palace insider said, saying she thought it was "appropriate for the Middletons to use the servants' entrance like the rest of the common people."

In addition, Camilla wanted her own children, Laura and Tom, to be given knighthoods or other honors. It seems that “the descendants of the Queen of Great Britain have it this way,” the source also said.

The Duke of Sussex recently recalled how he and his brother thought Queen Camilla was "evil, like all stepmothers in fairy tales." Harry claims that he and William had several private meetings with Camilla. It was a formality to get the teenagers used to the idea of a new love story between Charles and their future mother.

However, Prince William and Prince Harry managed to meet the future queen. They seemed to love her immediately.

How King Charles behaves with his sons

According to insiders, William and Kate have backed down. They felt they had "little chance of success." Royal sources added that: "Charles and Camilla hold all the cards at the moment."

Since then, there has been further animosity between the royal family and Charles' youngest son, Prince Harry, following the release of his memoir Spare and the debut of a documentary about Harry and Meghan.

It is unknown whether Harry will attend Charles's upcoming coronation. The event will take place on May 6.

Buckingham Palace officials said the ceremony "will reflect the monarch's role today and look forward to the future, while drawing on long-standing tradition and pomp."

Soon after coming to power, King Charles III introduced his "dear" wife Camilla as Queen Consort. He then officially gave William and Kate the new title of Prince and Princess of Wales. They left behind the titles of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

Charles also mentioned his estranged son Harry and daughter-in-law Meghan Markle during the speech. However, he failed to give them a new name.
