A great music legend has died! He was only 62 years old

One of country music's greatest legends has passed away! We are talking about the famous Toby Keith, who became famous throughout the world thanks to such hits as “Who's Your Daddy” and “Made in America”. The artist was 62 years old and suffered from stomach cancer.

According to adevarul.ro, the artist's career lasted more than three decades, and in 1984 he married Tricia Lucus. Toby Keith was born in Oklahoma and was a semi-professional American football player before taking his first steps into music in 1990.

In 1993, he released a single that was a huge success called "Should've Been a Cowboy." Following this smash hit, Toby Keith released several more popular albums such as Blue Moon, Unleashed and Pull my Chain.

One of the things that stood out to Toby Keith throughout his career was that his songs included references to various patriotic themes. The most controversial song was "Courtesy of the Red White and Blue (The Angry American)", released shortly after the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Unfortunately, the artist passed away at the age of only 62, after he was no longer able to continue his fight against stomach cancer. He told his fans that he suffered from this cruel disease more than 18 months ago, and on February 5, he could no longer resist the disease. Toby Keith reportedly died surrounded by his family.
