The age at which you are considered "too old" to have fun in nightclubs.

If you want to have fun at a nightclub without being judged, the survey shows it's important to consider your age. Otherwise, people may consider you "too old" for this type of activity.

Of course, age shouldn't be a barrier to having fun, but a survey cited by Mixmag says there's a certain limit if you want to experience the nightlife. Otherwise, you may be considered “too old.”

When the desire to go to nightclubs disappears

According to a survey of 5,000 UK adults by Currys PC World, 31 is the time when most people prefer to have fun in "quieter" places. This means that starting from the age of 31, the desire to go to clubs and night bars decreases.

Almost half of respondents said they would prefer to stay at home during their free time, regardless of the weather, with cost being another reason for this choice.

37, key age?

Apparently, when you turn 37, you're considered "too old" to party in nightclubs. Moreover, 37% of respondents said that "it is tragic to see people in their 40s and 50s having fun with people in their 20s."

The results showed that from the age of 37, 14% of respondents prefer to spend their free time at home following people on Facebook, while 37% of respondents said that they simply enjoy using social networks. While half of the 5,000 participants described their "perfect night" as watching TV.

Technology influences our choices

Matt Walburn of Currys PC World told Mixmag: "There comes a time when we value the comforts of our home more than our hectic social lives. This can often be a barrier to activity at night." “It’s now almost impossible to get bored at home thanks to high-quality technology like 4K TV, which enhances the experience so much that it suppresses the desire to be outside,” the technology specialist added.
