Cleaning your oven glass window perfectly will no longer be a difficult task! With these solutions, your kitchen oven will surely shine.

Of all the household chores, cleaning the glass oven window can certainly be one of the most challenging tasks. Kitchen ovens tend to accumulate a lot of dirt due to grease, and unless they have self-cleaning features, removing the dirt can seem like a daunting task.

We come with good news and present you with several solutions that will help you clean your kitchen oven glass quickly and effectively! With just a few ingredients and a little patience, spring cleaning will seem a lot easier. Here's what you need to do!

Here's how to clean your oven glass

With these solutions, you can effectively clean your oven both inside and outside.

To clean the inside of the oven you will need:

  • 1/2 cup baking soda;
  • 3 spoons of dishwashing detergent;
  • thin sponge for cleaning;
  • hot water;
  • microfiber cloth.

Mix baking soda with detergent until you get a thick paste. Apply a generous layer of the solution to the (cold) glass oven door and leave for 20-30 minutes. After this time, wipe well with a sponge, then with a damp cloth.

Baking soda leaves a lot of residue, so you may have to wipe the surface a few times to get it all off.

To clean the outside of the oven you will need:

  • white vinegar;
  • spray;
  • thin sponge for cleaning;
  • hot water;
  • microfiber cloth.

All you need to do is pour the vinegar into a bottle and spray it on the oven window. Rub the sponge gently to avoid scratching the glass, then wet the cloth and wipe again.

Oven glass is best cleaned after use while it is warm (not hot!) or cold.
