Bad cleaning habits that are making your home even dirtier

If you're constantly cleaning but find that you still can't get all the dirt out, you may be making at least one of the following mistakes. It can happen to anyone, so find out what it is and avoid them as much as possible!

Clean water, soap and dish soap don't solve every problem as we might think. Soap and dishwashing detergent can leave behind residue that attracts dirt, so only use them on oily surfaces!

Also, to avoid mold, you need to thoroughly clean dirty areas of the house, namely the trash can and the area where it is located. One way to do this is to use half a lemon to wash the basket. Then rinse with cold water and let dry thoroughly!

How to clean stains on carpet

A mistake many people make is to wipe the carpet with a rag to remove stains. Once the stain has dried, you will notice that it has spread to the surface of the carpet, so it is best to blot it with a sponge coated with carpet cleaner and then wipe it with a clean microfiber cloth.

Why doesn't the stove shine?

If you've used a variety of commercial solutions and your slab still isn't shiny, use a solution of baking soda and water. Mix the ingredients, cover the surface and leave for 30 minutes. Afterwards, wipe off the solution with a microfiber cloth.

Are you cleaning your dishwasher?

Cleaning your dishwasher is just as important as washing your dishes! Do not ignore this, otherwise the dishes may develop a musty smell. Remove the baskets and shelves from inside the machine, spray the inside of the machine with a vinegar and water solution, then wipe the door, sides and bottom with a clean cloth. Clean the shelves separately and, after placing them in the machine, run the high-temperature cleaning program without using detergent.

Wipe dust from the refrigerator?

When you dust your home, don't forget to dust your refrigerator and hanging furniture too! If you don't wipe it off, it will circulate around the room and settle on different surfaces. You can use a vacuum cleaner with a brush and a long handle.

Another bad habit: using too many cleaning products.

Another mistake is the excessive use of parquet and floor cleaning products. Too much product combined with too cold water will create a solution that will leave a sticky residue and attract more dirt. Ideally, use a minimal amount of product with warm, clean water.
