A range hood is a useful accessory in the kitchen, but it can often be difficult to clean. Luckily, there is an effective trick to make this mission easier.

If you don't want to spread the smell of food throughout the house, a range hood will help you due to its efficiency. Unfortunately, complex deposits of grease, dust and other residues can form on both the hood and its filters, making them difficult to clean. For proper operation of the device, regular cleaning of the hood is required, so we will tell you which solution will help you.

Here's how to clean your hood!

It is important to clean your hood every three months, since deposits of grease and dirt can cause wear. In addition, the unpleasant odor from the room becomes more difficult to remove, so it remains in the home longer. So how can you quickly and effectively clean your hood and its filter? Extremely simple!

  1. All you need is hot water, baking soda, a sponge or dish towel, and dish soap.
  2. All you need to do is remove the hood filters and place them in the sink.
  3. Fill the sink with hot water and add a generous layer of baking soda, which will help dissolve the grease.
  4. After this, add some dish soap and make sure the hot water covers the filters.
  5. Let the solution sit for half an hour and when you remove the plug from the sink, you will see the filters become clean again.
  6. Finally, rinse the filters thoroughly with water to ensure all grease is removed. Allow them to air dry before placing the filters back into the hood.

Alternatively, you can clean your hood very simply with a mixture of baking soda and water. Simply mix some hot water with baking soda, and once the baking soda has dissolved, soak a cloth in the water and wipe down your hood as usual. Finally, wipe with a dry towel and your hood will shine brighter than ever!
