Lemon, your cleaning ally. How does it help get rid of dirt?

For a clean and sparkling home, try these lemon tricks! This fruit can help you clean brass or copper items, microwave, or remove rust stains.

Lemon is used in many cooking recipes, but did you know that it can also be used to sanitize your home? Spring cleaning will be easier and faster if you try to do it like this:

Cleans brass and copper items

To clean brass and copper products, it is enough to apply salt (any) on half a lemon and rub the dirty place with it, then rinse. Just in case, it is recommended to first test the effect of lemon juice on a small part of the object.

Disinfects the microwave

You can sanitize your microwave oven with lemons. Place 3/4 cup water and 2 tablespoons lemon juice in a microwave safe bowl. Let the water heat up for 3/4 minutes (or until it boils) and wait 10 minutes. After this time, simply wipe the inside of the microwave with a paper towel. No need to wash.

Refrigerator Air Freshener

Your refrigerator will smell fresh with this trick: after cleaning the inside of the refrigerator, all you need to do is put half a lemon on a plate and let it take effect. The bad smell will disappear!

For clogged drains

You can solve a clogged drain by pouring a tablespoon of baking soda and 4 tablespoons of lemon juice down the drain. Let this mixture work for 30-40 minutes and add 2 liters of boiling water.

Removes rust spots

Rust stains on kitchen knives look unsightly, but lemon juice can help get rid of them. You just need to wipe the dishes with a kitchen sponge, which you previously soaked in juice.

Removes bacteria from grinders

To clean the shredders, apply a little lemon juice to the dirty area, then use half a lemon to remove the stains. Let the juice work until the stains are gone and rinse with clean water. Simple, right?
